Dr. Dan Johnson and Dr. Doug Neilson are both board certified orthopedic surgeons. They see a wide range of patients for a variety of problems such as arthritis, carpal tunnel, joint replacement, fractures and other injuries. Treatment options include injections, surgery, fracture care and physical therapy referral. Both physicians perform surgery at either Lewis and Clark Specialty Hospital or Avera Sacred Heart Hospital.
Our clinic is located on the sixth floor of the Benedictine Center on the Avera Sacred Heart Hospital Campus. The address is 1000 West Fourth Street, Suite 1, Yankton, South Dakota. Patients should park in the upper parking lot for closest access to the building. Our elevator is located on the south side of the Benedictine Center Lobby. The main elevators will also take you to the back entrance of the clinic on the sixth floor. Wheelchairs are available in the lobby to transport patients. Patients can be dropped off at the front door underneath the canopy for added convenience.
