Organization Overview

Miss Sudan Organization is a non-profit international organization. Founder Yar Kang formed this organization to pursue short and long-term initiatives including:
  •  providing opportunities for young Sudanese women to earn college scholarships;
  •  advocating for and recognizing Sudanese females;
  •  encouraging the spirit of those who have made outstanding contributions in various fields of endeavor;
  •  creating and maintaining a system of healthy competition that enhances career and educational opportunities;
  •  organizing annual fundraisers and beauty pageants;
  •  fundraising to open a center in the future for African people acclimating to America.
